Detox Methods

Throughout our lives in the modern world, we are constantly surrounded by a myriad of toxins that can unknowingly enter our bodies through the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat. Everyday products such as cleaning agents, cosmetics, and plastics can contain harmful substances that find their way into our systems. These toxins, which include heavy metals, pesticides, food additives, and various pollutants and chemicals, have the potential to accumulate in our bodies over time. Fortunately, our bodies have natural detoxification mechanisms, primarily through the liver and kidneys, but excessive exposure and the sheer variety of toxins can overwhelm these processes.

Toxin buildup can lead to a variety of serious health problems, one of the most concerning effects is the disruption of the endocrine system which can result in hormonal imbalances that may lead to fertility issues, developmental problems, and an increased risk of certain cancers. Accumulated toxins can also damage cellular structures and contribute to chronic inflammation, which is linked to numerous health conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Furthermore, toxins can compromise the digestive system, disrupting the gut microbiota and causing gastrointestinal issues that can weaken the immune system and make the body more susceptible to infections and diseases.

To mitigate the effects of toxins, it is crucial to be aware of the potential sources of exposure and take steps to reduce them. Eating a balanced diet with a focus on organic and minimally processed foods, drinking clean water, and opting for natural and eco-friendly products can help decrease our toxic burden. Regular exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can also support the body's natural detoxification processes, reducing the risk of health issues associated with toxin accumulation over time. But extra support can often be needed to allow our systems to run efficiently, and we offer the below services for detoxifying your body.

Ionic Foot Detox

An ionic foot detoxification, also known as an ionic foot bath or ionic cleanse, is a holistic therapy that is quite simple in its application. Our bodies are often so bombarded with toxins that our systems are not able to filter them out completely, causing build-up in our veins often concentrated in our feet. To release these accumulated toxins, the client’s feet are immersed in warm saltwater along with an ionic ray compromised of positive, negative, and neutral components. When engaged, the device emits positive and negative ions, creating an electrolytic reaction in the water allowing the ions to be absorbed by the feet through thousands of sweat glands. These ions are then able to neutralize and release these toxins from their sites of accumulation, allowing them to be flushed out of the client’s body through their feet.

Based on the color and consistency of the water after detoxification, we can determine which organs or systems are being compromised the most by toxin build-up, allowing clients to pursue additional methods of treatment and support for those systems. This detoxification process is most beneficial to our organs responsible for eliminating waste from our bodies, such as the liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system. The removal of toxins such as heavy metals, chemicals, and environmental pollutants allows these organs to operate more optimally, helping to rebalance the body's energy and promote more efficient ongoing detoxification. This can enhance vitality, strengthen the immune system, reduce levels of stress, and improve overall well-being.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique, inspired by ancient Lakota Native American healing remedies, is a gentle and natural method of promoting relaxation, balancing energy centers, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes by detoxifying major organs and systems.

Sessions begin with our therapist applying a series of seven essential oils to the client’s feet, followed by the client lying face down on a massage table to have a series of eight to twelve oils applied along their spine. Commonly used essential oils such as oregano, thyme, peppermint, basil, and wintergreen are carefully chosen for the relaxing abilities as they provide a variety of therapeutic properties including analgesic and anti-spasmodic effects. These properties may help to reduce inflammation, ease chronic pain and headaches, promote relaxation, and reduce stress or anxiety. Our therapist then uses gentle stretching and feathering techniques that help to release tension and improve circulation, allowing the oils to penetrate deep into the tissues and activate vital organs and systems. This activation promotes optimal function which helps to release and flush stored toxins.

Sessions typically last between 60 and 75 minutes and often leave clients feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated.

Colon Hydrotherapy

$85 a session. $5 fee when using credit. Package discounts are available. Sessions are approximately 60 minutes.

Our colon/large intestine, one of our five channels of elimination, serves the critical function of absorbing water, vitamins, and electrolytes, as well as removing collected toxins and solid waste from the body. Without the proper daily, monthly, and yearly tender love and care of our colon, it can become clogged with excess waste and toxins leading to constipation, bloating, and even complications with our immune systems.

Colon Hydrotherapy, also known as colon cleanse, colon irrigation, or colonic, is a drug-free method of cleaning the colon of this excess waste and toxins. Using an FDA-approved closed-system colonic machine, our therapist will flush your colon with warm filtered water, softening and loosening accumulated waste, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis/passage.

A single colon hydrotherapy session may produce the same results as having numerous regular bowel movements. With improved digestive function and toxin removal, clients often report improved energy levels and mental clarity.

Our wellness is an individual journey that should be simple and consistent.
