Energy Healing

Every living thing possesses an internal and external energy field or Universal Life Force. Every atom within every cell of our being, inside and out, is moving and vibrating at its own frequency. Sometimes that energy is aligned and balanced and sometimes it isn’t because we shift and change constantly. Our thoughts, experiences (both past and present), and everything around us has its own energy as well. If one's Universal Life Force is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Energy healing modalities address focus on the energetic condition of the body’s meridian system by releasing blockages and past wounds to promote self-healing and internal balance. The presence of this Universal Life Force and the ability to affect it for positive gain is a long-standing practice in many cultures. The Chinese intention of “moving chi" to bring harmony into the body is the foundation for the proven modalities of acupuncture, acupressure, tai chi, and qi gong. Indian rishis who study their sacred scriptures known as The Vedas, have long taught the meaning of “Prana,” the cosmic vibratory energy that is omnipresent in the universe, structuring and sustaining all things.

These methods greatly facilitate physical and emotional healing as well as spiritual growth, allowing you to fully step into who you truly are. Practitioners channel and introduce pure, loving energy and, if you are open to receive this energy, together you can create internal balance and activate your highest frequency or vibration. Energy healing can be extremely helpful for chronic situations where nothing else has been effective, but are generally seen as supportive therapies toward wellness that supplement traditional health care.

By connecting to this energy and acknowledging your experience you are able to be validated and move forward into releasing what no longer serves you. The immediate affects often experienced from an energy healing session include profound relaxation and emotional peace.

Everything is Energy

Reiki

Reiki, meaning “guided life force energy,” is a Japanese form of energy healing passed from teacher to student and has been a valuable healing modality for more than 100 years. The technique promotes stress reduction and relaxation, treating the whole person including body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is quite simple to learn as it does not require study in the traditional sense. Instead, the ability to perform Reiki is given to the student by a master in the form of an attunement, allowing them to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy” to improve one’s health and enhance their quality of life.

Reiki is not a religion and does not require belief in any dogma. Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. Reiki is a system of natural healing practiced with simple, ethical ideals that works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote peace and harmony.

Giving Reiki is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement administered by "laying on hands." With a light touch the practitioner will gently place their hands on multiple locations on the client’s fully clothed body. Many of the selected hand locations correspond to centers of energy known as chakras. It’s not uncommon for warmth, tingling, and/or movement to be experienced during a session as the client draws what is needed.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique, inspired by ancient Lakota Native American healing remedies, is a gentle and natural method of promoting relaxation, balancing energy centers, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes by detoxifying major organs and systems.

Sessions begin with our therapist applying a series of seven essential oils to the client’s feet, followed by the client lying face down on a massage table to have a series of eight to twelve oils applied along their spine. Commonly used essential oils such as oregano, thyme, peppermint, basil, and wintergreen are carefully chosen for the relaxing abilities as they provide a variety of therapeutic properties including analgesic and anti-spasmodic effects. These properties may help to reduce inflammation, ease chronic pain and headaches, promote relaxation, and reduce stress or anxiety. Our therapist then uses gentle stretching and feathering techniques that help to release tension and improve circulation, allowing the oils to penetrate deep into the tissues and activate vital organs and systems. This activation promotes optimal function which helps to release and flush stored toxins.

Sessions typically last between 60 and 75 minutes and often leave clients feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
